Im very happy with this weekend and I like to say congratz to A-net.

Look:

- see how many districts HA got this weekend (around 6-8). That says alot of how many people like to play HA.

- see how much different builds people run. Ok there are still a lot of sways but most teams know to beat them. And the beginners just have to face the good lame thumper ways

. I mean my guild played really a lot of different builds. Some we owned some we lose (also many great high ranked guilds :P).

- normaly when i play HA I mostly face the same teams etc the whole night (mostly Sway and Legoway). Now I face teams who are high ranked (some of them suck some dont :P) but I also faced a lot of teams who are unranked or mid ranked and they really had potential in there builds (still some sucked and some just won because they had good teamplay

Im just very happy with this weekend and i really enjoyed this weekend (still sunday to go :P).

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT:

There is also something to complain:

I dont like the assasin teams ( the teams with dancin daggers + knockdown etc). The main dmg of the build is just the skills thereself. There is really no tactic involved. I mean with a good Sway team you need to play a bit (ok tiny bit :P) with tactics to win a good team. But with those sinbuilds its a bit overpowered to win from them.

And then there is Paraway. I dunno about this. On 1 side I like it because you can also easily kill them as sway, but in the otherhand they are also very imbalanced to me. Its also most of the time the skills that do the work of the build and not the players. (but currently im ok with the para because its not easy for most teams to play it good enough to win :P).

For the end:

Dont blame me for my bad English (im dutch :P).

And again; TY A-net for this weekend. I made around 150-200 fame this weekend (and my guild dont play that much HA) and we won from great high ranked guilds so those matches where really nice to play.

I hope more people play HA, But the more I hope A-net can do some event like this to GVG. Because thats the most beautiful part of PVP. I mean if there is potential to play GVG more and more people play GVG and GVG is reborn.

I mean HA was in the past the same as it was this weekend (and then I mean the people, not the builds :P).

Congrats on being one of the few to actually get a group, I made about 4 fame as of now. Because everytime I make a non/ low ranked group they quit as soon as we fail once or just call me a noob and ignore me when I make it and say "no rank required".

It's physically impossible (even with making your own group) to earn alot of fame. You'll keep getting leavers and people who won't join once they realize your not r3+.

I love it when I see teams calling for r3 or r6 or whatever for builds such as oath shot spirit spammer. Um yeah that is sooo hard to play. Spamming all the spirits then switching to a recurve/short bow and shooting someone with oath.

I've had a good match here and there, but most of it was nub stomping kids and their trash gimmick builds.

Which is why I quit HA in the first place.

They make HA fun again, with little or no skips and its actually a lot harder to win halls when everyone is playing.

Don't know which planet you are on, i wouldn't call running into thumpway teams 99% of the time fun. HA is way more balanced when its not double fame.

Gimmick pug teams give newer players a chance by using the power of their skills over the build until they have a chance to actually develop some skill and rank to pug higher.

However, it also is boring to fight Spiritway for the 9001st time.

I had some fun over the weekend, mainly while playing 5hex.

Stop GW then if you think about it this way, delete it from your PC and delete your account. You guys are so dark thinking (i dunno the wright words here in english but its a marketing term in dutch).

If you guys just play Ha or GVG and dont think about the bad builds more and more people will play it and eventualy you will also face more balanced builds.

And there are also many topics around here where you can learn how to face builds like sway etc.

But cmon:

I just made this topic to say congratz to A-net, and all that the most people can say is: I dont like it anymore or I dont play it anymore.

WE DONT WANNA HEAR IF YOU DONT PLAY IT ANYMORE. WE WANT YOU TO PLAY YOUR 1337 BALANCED BUILDS AGAIN IN HA OR GVG. CMON I KNOW YOU ALL STILL WANNA PLAY

Only double PvP reward weekend should be blath faction, because if they REALLY want to help out new players having full unlock will help just as much as r3. You can't do much outside of HA if you only have the skills to run a smoke trapper.

Why play leet pro balanced builds if you get rolled by some one kneeling and smoking you up?
It is totally not rewarding to run balanced builds any more.
Also i dont like the average additude in HA.

But then again. others games are cool too. It seems i have to return after a few months, like anet has planned in their game release plan.

All I saw this weekend was thousands of newly acquired bambis being flashed in my face. Then when I don't reply they ask me to /rank them. I mean, I have an emote...but it's not something to be proud of. I'm much more proud of the good matches I fought against good teams in UW that I got 1 fame for.

I hate double weekends, especially for PvP. Because it then comes back to people caring more about the title/emote as opposed to the experience.

I'll take my GvG over HA anyday...oh wait.

This weekend made me loose all hope on guildwars, honestly, its like the what? 3th time in what? 2 months?

I was looking forward to this, but when i saw there was no skill balance in the update, i just decided to uinstall gw once and for all, seriously i acctully did. Why have a weekend like this? To satisfy the people that want to grind their r3-6 with lame ass builds. I never cared so much about gather fame for the sake of it, why do? "Get points so you can pug more groups to get more points!" i had no motivation at all to farm spiritways for hours, im looking forward to the release of Fury.

Different Builds? Sway, and Legoway, and them some of the lame sin builds. Not much else. Be nice if there were some incentive to play something different that the meta isnt prepared for. almost every build in the meta would be owned by a CG ranger, yet no one switches.
